In January 2015, the Wanton Shillelaghs broke onto the pub-scene with a lively gig at the Brunswick Hotel that saw passersby pouring in from the street to catch a glimpse of the dancing. This was followed by a string of gigs throughout Melbourne and country Victoria, culminating in a sellout show at ARC Yinnar in Gippsland in July 2015.
